{"id":2032,"date":"2019-11-01T14:20:10","date_gmt":"2019-11-01T14:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.qware-banking.com\/?p=2032"},"modified":"2019-11-04T13:02:53","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T13:02:53","slug":"qware-at-the-african-microfinance-week-sam-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qware-banking.com\/es\/qware-at-the-african-microfinance-week-sam-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"QWare at the African Microfinance Week (SAM 2019)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SAM 2019 (The&nbsp;African Microfinance Week)<\/strong> is a major conference dedicated to development of financial inclusion in Africa, held every two years in different countries on the continent. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ada-microfinance.org\/en\/presentation-sam-2019\">Stated by the organizers<\/a>, \u201cthe main <strong>ambition<\/strong>&nbsp;of the SAM is to provide a unified African platform for exchange on the microfinance issues facing the African continent by bringing together all the professionals of the sector \u2013 investors, MFIs, researchers, banks, networks, innovators, governments and others\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"568\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_conference-1-1024x568.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2047\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_conference-1-1024x568.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_conference-1-300x167.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_conference-1-768x426.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_conference-1.jpg 1171w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of our drive to facilitate financial inclusion through the technology we offer, <strong>we\u2019ve joined hundreds of participants, companies and other stakeholders. with a similar aim at the International Conference Centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso<\/strong> to support local initiatives with our international experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three of our colleagues with in-depth experience on the African market have attended the conference and have <strong>presented our tailored innovation of the year \u2013 the software as a service core-banking system designed to MFIs and small banks \u2013 QWare<\/strong>. Built based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quipu.de\/productsservices\/banking-software\/\">Quipu Banking Suite<\/a>, QWare covers all the needs of small banks and financial institutions, as it supports their lending and retail business operations. QWare is built based on over 20 years of experience in technical solution for banks and financial institutions of all sizes, which now comes with easier and faster access. Thus, the solution drove a lot of interests and discussions around the posibilities of the cloud core banking system, and QWare was shown at the Quipu booth to support understanding of the complex, and yet easy to use software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2039\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team-1024x768.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team-300x225.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team-768x576.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team-627x470.jpg 627w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_team.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We\nhave once again reinforced our believe that some key features are essential in\noffering a qualitative, customer oriented technical solution to support\nfinancial services access on the African market: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Digitization<\/strong> \u2013 the\nincrease of interest is spectacular, and stakeholders all aim at having fully\ndigitized solutions, thus reducing costs, having a stringer control on quality\nand facilitating access;<\/li><li><strong>Mobility <\/strong>\u2013 on a\nmarket so wide, mobility is essential for a complete financial solution to\nsupport expansion activities in remote areas;<\/li><li><strong>Payments solutions <\/strong>\u2013 movement\nof cash in remote areas can be optimized, while technical tools should support\ncontrol and security of transactions, wherever and whenever they are made.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"939\" height=\"755\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_stand.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2040\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_stand.jpg 939w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_stand-300x241.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/QWare_SAM2019_stand-768x618.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 939px) 100vw, 939px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, a week\u2019s discussions and interactions cannot be summed up in a short post-conference note. We do count, however, very much on <strong>taking the valuable feedback we have received and bringing it forward in enhanced services<\/strong> dedicated to the market.
